ANZAC

                                  ANZAC

ANZAC day is still important because Australia and New Zealand became a federal commonwealth.
It is important because the soldiers in war fought for us, for our freedom and keep us safe.

They dressed in their uniform, they wore a hat, a hat badge, collar badge, Puttee, Tunic, Belt and a riffle.
They wore boots also helped their feet keep warm.

In war they ate bacon, hard crackers, salted pork, salted beef and dried peas. They drank water but then
it started to run out so they drank coffee, tea and milk. The soldiers in war ate ANZAC wafers and sometimes it broke their teeth because it was very hard.

They all related to one another in many different ways by doing sign language and maybe gave one another codes or in different other languages they spoke. They also used pigeons to send messages to each other from far away.

The Mummified Monk

 The Mummified Monk
By: Caitlyn
There is a Buddha statue and it contains a holy man, this holy man was trapped inside the Buddha. Scientist have been studying on this and they believe he was stuck in the Buddha statue for over 200 years. The holy man named Liuquan was inside the Buddha and he was sitting in a lotus position. As he was there he was slowly dying because he had no food to eat.

In 1997 the scientist discover that the 1000 year old Buddha had been restored with gold painting by the Buddha owner. The owner was repainting the Buddha statue and detached the wooden platform then he discovered there was two pillows. He was fascinated by it so he gave it to the scientist to investigate on.

The scientist put the Buddha statue inside the CT scan the tests showed that there was a body inside, but it did not show the man's organs they didn't know how the holy man's organs were taken out.

The Buddha owner gave it to the museum because they were having a special exhibition(display) The exhibition at the museum ended at august 2014.
They halt/stop the investigation because there was no answer for them to figure out about the Buddha and the holy man that was inside and also they didn't know how the organs got taken out.

The big surprise was that they found the man inside the Buddha so that is why they call it the “living Buddha”. The other surprise was that the organs were taken out and they don’t know why and how.
This means that in this process he was transferred into the Buddha statue. They went through this because it was an ancient ritual that some followed.

The mummy was placed inside the Buddha statue so that they could be put in a temple and people could go there and worship/praise it.

Banning smart watches in universities

On May 13 2015, Michael Clarke, the students of New Zealand and the Association President of Universities Rory McCourt. They didn't want smart watches in universities during test.  Students are believed to cheat using the internet. This took place at Massey University and they have been planning that they should not have smart watches in test due to fear of cheating during test by viewing the internet and getting answer from it. In the future, I think that smart watches will not be around.
