Matilda Book review
This book is about a girl named Matilda who is very intelligent and bright. Her parents are Mrs Wormwood and Mr Wormwood. They don’t even know how talented she is, because they are too busy watching TV and growling her off.
She is so clever that when she was three she taught herself to read, and at the age of four she started to become faster and faster at reading that she wanted more books to read. When she was five she started going to the library and started reading the children's book. She kept on going to the library but eventually she finished the children's books and started to read chapter books.
When Matilda started school and there was a mean Principal named Mrs Trunchbull. Everyone was scared of Mrs Trunchbull, if your behaviour was very bad she would put you in the Chokey and no one liked the Chokey. They were also scared of her because she was very strong and strict. Matilda met this nice girl named lavender. Eventually they became best friends and in her classroom she had the best teacher named Miss Honey who was nice and caring. Miss Honey found out that she had a intelligent kid in her class and that was Matilda
I recommend this book to age 8 and over. I rate this book 10/10 because it was so intriguing and fascinating and I recommend this book for people who like books that intriguing.
