Which did the bear take control of?

The bear took control of the north gate.

Why did Ga-oh choose these particular assistants to manage the winds?
He chose  the Bear because he was strong and because he turned water into ice, he choice the  Panther because he was fierce and powerful, Ga-oh choice the Mosse because he brought drizzle and wet and he chose the Fawn because she was gentle and soft and that she will watch over the summer breeze

Why did Ga-oh continue to hold onto the four leashes?
Ga-oh was holding onto the Bear panther Moose and fawn because he wanted to protect the world from the wild elements.

What does Ga-oh’s choice of animals tell you about each four winds?
It means altogether they make a stronger team and that they make the world a better place to live in together.

What did Ga-oh mean when he said to the panther, your breath can destroy the forest?  
Ga-oh said this because it means that he is very powerful and strong.

Why are pieces of rock included in the illustration on page 2?
There are pieces of rock because bear pushes great mountains aside in his path
