Women could not take up roles such as altar servers, Church ministers and other roles.	Women are now allowed to become ministers, upfront as readers and other roles in the Church.
It was the Church's rule that the Priest faced away from the congregation (facing to God)	The Priest now faces the congregation
The Jews were our enemies because they killed  Jesus	The Jews are now part of our human family, because they are our brothers and sisters in humanity.
Before Vatican II, the whole world sang the same songs according to the Rome and the Catholic calendar.	Churches can now select hymns of their own that represents their unique community and culture.
